(480 Volt or less)

1. Disconnect power and lockout & tag
2. Crimp on lugs as necessary to both motor leads and power leads
3. Bolt lugs together as shown on motor nameplate for voltage being used
4. 1 wrap minimum of 3M #70
5. 6 wraps minimum of 3M #2242 (larger motors should have more wraps)
6. 1 or 2 wraps of 3M #88Plus (or 33Plus if 88Plus is not available)
7. Make sure that this does not rub on conduit box with cover installed
8. Apply power and test run motor

Note: 10HP & under at 480 volt can be done with wire nuts and 3M #88Plus tape.
