Accounts Receivable Specialist

Malloy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team and ensure timely, accurate processing of customer payments and account maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process ACH deposits.

  • Create check deposits.

  • Post and reconcile Credit Card transactions.

  • Enter approved AR adjustments.

  • Understanding of sales and use tax for multiple states and proper application to SOs (Sales Orders) and WOs (Work Orders).

  • Moving SOs through the entry and billing phases.

  • Work with customers returns to confirm receipt of goods.

  • Follow up on returns with vendors and issue credits to customers after Malloy receives credit from vendors.

  • Perform other responsibilities as necessary.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in accounting preferred, not required.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, math skills and attention to detail. 

  • Be willing to learn by asking questions. 

  • Be enthusiastic and willing to take on responsibility.

  • A team-oriented person with willingness to participate in a team culture.

  • Well versed with computers and 10-key input skills.

  • Ability to provide instruction and guidance to new and existing employees as needed.

  • Great communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.

  • Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
