Accounts Receivable Specialist
Malloy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team and ensure timely, accurate processing of customer payments and account maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process ACH deposits.
Create check deposits.
Post and reconcile Credit Card transactions.
Enter approved AR adjustments.
Understanding of sales and use tax for multiple states and proper application to SOs (Sales Orders) and WOs (Work Orders).
Moving SOs through the entry and billing phases.
Work with customers returns to confirm receipt of goods.
Follow up on returns with vendors and issue credits to customers after Malloy receives credit from vendors.
Perform other responsibilities as necessary.
Skills / Qualifications
Associate’s degree in accounting preferred, not required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Strong problem-solving skills, math skills and attention to detail.
Be willing to learn by asking questions.
Be enthusiastic and willing to take on responsibility.
A team-oriented person with willingness to participate in a team culture.
Well versed with computers and 10-key input skills.
Ability to provide instruction and guidance to new and existing employees as needed.
Great communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
