Malloy Electric specializes in Variable Frequency Drives or VFDs. Our VFD group has the expertise necessary to best handle your industrial drive needs and applications. Malloy has a large inventory of VFDs spanning over the upper Midwest, such as North and South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.  Our drive inventory currently exceeds 300 drives from fractional HP to 500 HP low voltage.  Malloy’s VFD stock includes voltages from 230 to 460 volts to suit many different application demands.


Malloy’s sample inventory includes:


Open (IP20, IP00) VFDs intended for panel or motor control center (MCC) mounting from fractional HP to 350 HP

NEMA 4X enclosed VFDs, for a corrosive, washdown environment from fractional HP to 10 HP

NEMA 1 enclosed VFDs for wall mounting and floor mounting ranging from 1 HP to 500 HP

Custom built, UL 508, VFD panels available through Malloy Electric

Services

Malloy provides VFD service capabilities that are second to none. Our highly trained technicians handle all drive issues, from fractional horsepower to medium voltage VFD’s. We strive to solve our customer’s toughest drive problems, minimizing costly downtime while optimizing system performance. Malloy technicians provide the following services:

  • Install, commission, troubleshoot and repair:

    • Low voltage AC drives

    • Medium voltage AC drives

    • DC drives

    • Solid state soft starters (both LV and MV)

  • Scheduled drive maintenance

  • Printed circuit board troubleshooting and repair
