Field Sales Representative

The Field Sales Representative will interact with customers concerning the sales of electric motor products and service. The role will work within an assigned geographic area, to visit client locations in their daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships in your assigned area. Will need to develop new customers and grow the territory sales to desired budget number.

  • Work with assigned inside sales staff.

  • Provide technical advice relating to the use, operation, and maintenance of motors.

  • Keep customers informed of new products and trends.

  • Abide by all safety/environmental rules and regulations.

  • Perform other functions as necessary

Skills / Qualifications

  • Competitive and extroverted personality.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Possess problem-solving skills.

  • Interest or experience in electrical and/or mechanical.

  • Be willing to learn by asking questions, reading product information literature, and viewing training aides. Independent learning will accelerate sales success.

  • Attend on-site and off-site training to develop additional product knowledge as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license and the appropriate state mandated minimum automobile insurance.

  • Overnight travel may be required – as needed.

  • Safety minded.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
